I am an academician and researcher by choice. Having more than 19 years’ experience of teaching and research at local and foreign universities, I believe in inspiring my students for the learning. Currently, I have been working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Software Engineering, NUML, Islamabad since 2019. I served as Head of Software Engineering Department from December 2020 to January 2024. Before joining NUML, I worked at COMSATS University, Islamabad from 2004 to 2018 and at King Saud University, Riyadh from 2014 to 2016. I got my PhD degree in human computer interaction from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia in 2012. Moreover, I did my MSc in software engineering from Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden in 2008. Likewise, I completed MCS and BCS degrees from University of Arid Agriculture and Allama Iqbal Open University, Pakistan in 2004 and 2002 respectively. Human computer interaction is my primary area of research and my most of research work is related to usability evaluation, user experience, haptic systems, mobile interfaces, and requirements engineering. However, being interested in interdisciplinary research, I am always eager to discuss new ideas and to work for the betterment of humanity.
